What happens at the $99 exam?
Full orthopedic & spinal assessment, 3D Styku body scan, first clinically indicated treatment, and a complete report of findings from Dr. Books. This isn't a quick pop — it's a 60–90 minute deep-dive diagnostic session to find what's actually causing your problem.
What should I wear to my appointment?
Please wear or bring form-fitting clothing — athletic wear, compression shorts or leggings, sports bra for women. The 3D Styku body scan requires tight-fitting attire to capture accurate measurements. If you're unsure, think gym-ready.
Why don't you take insurance?
Because insurance controls care — and Dr. Books refuses to let that happen. Operating outside of insurance gives Dr. Books the freedom to spend as much time as your body demands, use every tool available, and design a plan around you — not a billing department.
Do I have to commit to a care plan after the exam?
Dr. Books will present you with a customized care plan based on his findings. There is no pressure at the exam itself. Everything is laid out clearly so you can make the right decision for your situation.
